Choosing a Sofa in the Sale

Get the size and shape right

Measure the wall or space where the sofa will go. Then measure the doorways, hallways and any tight corners it needs to pass through on delivery day. A 2 or 3 seater suits most living rooms. Modular and corner sofas suit larger or open-plan spaces and give you more ways to arrange the room. If you need a spare bed for guests, a sofa bed covers both jobs.

Fabric or leather

Fabric sofas come in a wide range of colours and textures and tend to feel soft and relaxed. Leather sofas are easy to wipe down and develop more character as they age. Check the care details on each product page, especially if you have kids or pets.

Finish the seating area

An armchair adds extra seating without crowding the room. An ottoman doubles as a footrest, a spare seat or somewhere to put a tray.
